The first quarter of the 2011/2012 edition of Yas Island Show Weekends concluded in spectacular style with the iconic sound of one of the greatest jazz, soul and R&B bands, Sade playing to 10,326 fans.
Performing their first and last concert in the Middle East, at the YAS Arena, Yas Island, the British band serenaded thousands of fans, taking many couples on a trip down memory lane.
Sade Adu, the front woman with the sultry and suave voice that captured the hearts of many millions when she burst on to the music scene in the 80s, opened the night with Soldier of Love, a song off the band’s latest album.
It was clear after all these years Sade was still a smooth operator, displaying a near -flawless two-hour performance.
